I'm not saying there needs to be more government agencies

With every new government regulation/control, comes 2-3 new depts to accomplish this. Sheesus, just look at how many new gov depts/agencies/.employees it is going to take to carry out this Healthcare abortion! not to mention it is so fucked up and convoluted businesses have no fuckin idea how it will affect them. it has brought US business to a standstill and collapsed many. And this is just one thing the gov wants to take over.

Awww, but fuck it, this country is done, we are almost too close to pull the nose up before it is fatal collision.

Bullshit, the biggest money spenders and wasters in our gov is Medicare. period! Yes we can cut military spending, but what they want to cut with this cliff coming up is major stuff. Like make our Navy the smallest since before WW2. At this time, we cannot afford to be weak in the world, when it is about to really collapse.

Really? Leettt me ask you a question? How much more are you making now compared to when you started? How many years?

My 11 year anniversary is coming up on 09/10/2012 and I started at the bottom of the barrel making 9.61/hr. I busted my ass and went to additional certification classes on my own dime and worked a lot of extra hours off the clock proving myself to the higher ups. I now make close to 60K per year and I'm 36. It's not Diacos money, but I own everything except my house, but I hope to have that paid off by the time I'm 40 or so, then it's on like donkey kong.

For instance, our gov is in the process of upgrading and retrofitting 100's of P3C naval aircraft, spending about $30 billion or so what i understand. I'm talking replacing avionics, wings, parts of fuselages, etc. At the same time, we are replacing this entire fleet with P8 aircraft.

What will happen to these P3's you think? They will be given as foreign aid too many many countries, a lot of which HATE us!. WTF. This is just one example.

My mom just paid $400 for medicine that Medicare should cover, she EARNED it. They sent her a check for 45 cents. 45 cents! It had $1.65 postage on it!

The new USMC 1911 is another good example. How often do you think those guys are needing their sidearms and don't give me the bullshit that the 9mm won't stop anything, plenty of people die every day from being shot by 9mm.

And you should be commended! And I mean that! But, you are moving up in your career, so that is pretty expected, as long as you do what you are doing. But soon, you will plateau or close to it, where unless you go into your own business, your salary will remain pretty stagnant. At this point, annual 2-4% increase, if you even get that, do not keep up with annual 10% increases on everything!

But I am like you, my house is damn near paid for. I don't live above my means nor squander money just because I get a raise. Most people do.

It is the ongoing increase in our gov spending, causing all the other increases in our costs. It will just get worse.

Thanks, my company has done a lot for me and my family and I will stay with them as long as they'll have me. I won't rub it in (but I'm gonna) I only work M-F 5am - 1:30pm, with a really good chance of working from home here soon :fingers&toescrossed:
