The RIAA is such a joke. You would think they would embrace the internet as a medium to promote music.

They seriously want us to go back to the brick and mortar CD business at about $21.99 a copy.

cd's are done... sandisk copyrighted movie and music on usb stick... whatever you don't use becomes free space for you on the stick...

And #2 is why internet radio isn't going to be standard for a while. Until data caps rise and you can share between devices (smartphone, tablet, car radio, etc.), people are not going to pay for multiple plans. I refuse to get a 4G plan for my tablet for that reason.

Sprint still has unlimited data. My total bill is about $100 with a ll the taxes and bullshit.

And they have no problem changing formats every 10-20 years, either, making you pay for your music multiple times. I should be able to download every goddamned mp3 file matching up to my vinyl collection, FOR FREE.

At least the movie industry is kind of getting it. They off Blu-Ray, DVD, and digital copy packs of movies now. The MPAA are still crooked though.

I will get the next iPad if it is 2x the screen resolution. It will keep my wife off the computers, where the MEN play.

I ended up dumping my laptop in favor of it. It is surprisingly useful.

No, they are staying in the server and printer business, for sure, although they need to move fast to get out of the whole Itanium server deal.

I saw the specs the other day. Some are saying desktop power in the palm of your hand (I don't believe that though). And your screen is only as good as the source material.
