I'd hate to hear a station running through 9 dropped calls

Alot of remotes for FM stations are done via skype now days. Gone are the days of a big marty unit in the back of a big chevy van.

oh like they do on CNN - yeah I've seen a bunch of those go glitchy as hell and the audio quality isn't controllable on skype...

weird they wouldn't use a more fexible VOIP app

I got some new refund news (I guess I'm one of the "six" people that asked for one ) Spice emailed me last night and stated that if I don't hear something within a week he will hand deliver my request to bean himself. Then I heard Bean on the DD, so I said WTF let me call in and see if I can put him on the spot, so I got thru first ring (wasn't expecting that to be honest) and someone besides Pantera answered and I explained that I wanted to talk to bean and he said he just got off the air, but he took down my contact info and handed it to Bean on his way out (or so he says...) So let's see what happens now. Let me ask you guys, do you really think only six people asked for refunds??? I'm calling shenanigans on that deal.

No clue if it was BS or not, but it should be far simpler to cancel for a refund than what is happening here, especially considering that they gave away a big part of what we paid for.

I hope things get resolved for you soon.

I see the USS BRN, IO, et.al sailing towards the big iceberg with Captain Bubba at the wheel with yeoman Spice screaming from the crowsnest "Iceberg ahead" while the good captain tells him to STFU and to whip out his dong and I'm on the lifeboat watching it all unfold from afar, very afar. I have lost all faith in anything Bubba and really wish he could get his life, his show and staff back in order, but I simply don't see it happening. Does it mean I will stop listening, hell no. I am really hoping I am 100% wrong on this one, but my gut is telling me otherwise.

hey as long as you're willing to keep listening that's a start

everyone has slumps.. this divorce has effected bubba a LOT more then he's let on obviously and even though I think the shows suffered a bit through it - I think he did a hell of a job to keep on keepin on and trying. So I give him mad props for that. Hard to be funny and "on" when you feel like death inside..

Hey Pete are you an EE and if so, did you ask for a refund? I think possibly LegmanCT might have asked for a refund as well, and if this is the case, I know 50% of the unsatisfied customers
