Okay, even if they did get his rout and acct numbers how do they drain his account? If I paid you by check (which will have my rout and acct #'s) you can't drain my account. I'm not following here, sorry.

With ur acct/routing number, I can put that into any Quicken type app, brute force the PW, transfer all ur funds. It happens all the time! Maybe they are scamming this differently, but either way it is a scam!

It is no different than some Kenyan Prince wants you deposit some funds and you will get half!

I don't listen to this garbage show but are they referring to some sort of western union type of check cashing scam? And like Cpt said, getting routing/acct info doesn't allow you to drain someone's bank account. If that were the case, this would be a widespread thing.

It happens, trust me. I had checks I paid someone with stolen in transit after they deposited them. Next thing ya know, small withdrawal to validate acct. Fortunately, my bank notified me and I had to change my account.

But go ahead, send ur account info to some Russian hack group. See how long you have money in it!
