Anybody got the latest ratings? Bubba mentioned beating Cowhead in the weekly Men 25-54 demo. But no numbers and nothing about Persons 25-54.

If you look at it from a business standpoint, it looks like Cox made the right decision. Getting rid of Bubba and his bloated contract not to mention all the drama/baggage that comes along with him and putting Cowhead in his place for what some believe is 66% less than what they were paying Bubba and splitting the ratings right down the middle doesn't sound like such a bad deal from the money side of the business.

It was foolish on Cox's part to think that Bubba wouldn't be picked up by someone here in the Tampa market after they let him go. It will be interesting to see what happens to Bubba after the Neilsen suit and to Calta after the Hogan suit and if either of them have jobs after the respective verdicts.
