4) Bubba has said a million times that the talk radio genre is highly expensive, so it stands to reason that Cox is making money on the bone, or else it would have reformatted, correct?
4) Cox made a strategic "change in direction" decision in Sep 2014. Strategic means long term. Not enough time yet to judge the bet that Cox made.
Cox is "making money." But what is its ROI for the Cowhead show? And what is a good ROI for Cox corporate standards?

Bubba - "Backstabbers eventually get bitched out, you listenin Cowhead?"
Didn't Bubba "allegedly" backstab Hogan by illegally filming him? Just askin.Originally posted by Drew GaraboCpt., with full awareness of your disdain for me, I still have to say that you are making some strong points.

As for the Cox, I think you're asking a question we won't have an answer to unless financial info is leaked, or else how would we ever know? From an outsider looking in's standpoint, Cox got rid of what they perceived as a "cancer", took a calculated risk by getting rid of someone who brought in a lot of money but they didn't want to deal with anymore for someone who was more a "team player" for lack of a better term. I like to compare what happened to Bubba to what happened to Keyshawn Johnson and Terrell Owens in the NFL, both superstars who produced a lot for their teams but their personalities and baggage were too much to handle, so the teams decided the production wasn't worth all the off the field drama. I think that's a fair comparison.Originally posted by Drew GaraboCpt., with full awareness of your disdain for me, I still have to say that you are making some strong points.

Bubba certainly represents a ton of baggage, risk and expense.
But if we're talking just financial considerations, one can analyze the numbers (if we had them) and judge which course--Bubba or Calta is a better ROI.
Right now I suspect the better ROI is Bubbs.

Hogan is just getting desperate to get his hooks in somebody cuz he knows the Gawker fiasco is going to get overturned.
What is the big deal about the billboards? Have you ever heard of a business advertising? Is Beasley Media on the ropes because they buy billboards also? You're just repeating shit that Bubba says.Last edited by FatOldMan; 05-05-2016, 10:17 AM.
