Bubba's ratings were such where they thought it made more financial sense to pay Calta half of what they were paying Bubba, only losing a small amount of the ratings. So far, it looks like they made a good financial decision, that is unless Hootie takes them to the cleaner too.

Plus Fish, you have to admit, there was a huge rift at the Bone. Whether you want to blame it on Bubba, Calta, or both, or none of them, having Bubba on the channel was hurting team morale. Him having his own studio, using the "contractor" label when it suited him to not participate in Bone sponsored events then crying when they don't include him in stuff was getting old. IMO he wore out his welcome and the financial "juice was no longer worth the squeeze" to them...

What are Cowhead's ratings and position today and what were they in late 2014 for Bubba?

I don't have access to the ratings, that's Butler's department. However, it's hard to say anything about the ratings because Bubba cheated on those, so what is considered valid at this point? I can say that current day ratings have both Calta and Bubba tightly matched where one will win Men 25-54 while the other wins People 25-54, so like I said earlier Cox looks like they made a good financial decision not renewing the Sponge.

They basically split Bubba's morning show ratings in the men category and Calta has a large female audience where Bubba essentially has zero. It's a win for Cox even before factoring in the liability and drama that Bubba brings and as far as the ratings go, Bubba has and probably still is cheating.
