I agree, getting unemployment back in the day used to be work. Nowadays you just do it online, never have to look for a job, and in some states you make more on assistance than working. Keep spending money!

I've been listening to the Sponge since he got to Tampa in the Power Pig days. I never listened to him when he was on Sirius, but I heard those were great shows. If you still enjoy the show that's great. Am I critical of Bubba? Sure, am I a "hater"? I don't think so. I think my assessment of the show is pretty fair for the most part. I held out hope for the longest time that he would get back to greatness, but when he lost all the key players he did and pretty much gave up and has been going through the motions I've just sat back and watched the show slowly erode into what it is now, which in my opinion is a shell of its former great self. It's pretty sad actually because back in the 98Rock days you wouldn't have found a bigger Bubba fan than me. It's weird, but I was never a fan of the whores, gay stunts or any of that shit. Why can't he get back to what made his show good is anyone's guess. Manson not giving a fuck for years now and being on cruise control has definitely not helped matters either and I place just as much blame on the show's degradation on him as much as I do Bubba.

I think He's scared. It seems like every Radio Host has been neutered, and the ones like Bubba are affected the most because of the way they used to be. This thing about the Ratings tampering shows that He's worried about his success to the point where He's paranoid, and doing stupid shit. I agree about Manson, He's given him too much control. Don't get me wrong, Manson is the creative Genius of the show, just too much control. He seems to be Bubba's governor. You can't fly by the seat of your pants when the governor is on. I suppose it's a good thing you didn't listen in the Sirius days, 'cause Man, you'd really have something to bitch about.
