What Spice did was pretty egregious, and they on paper at least have him dead to rights, so why won't they prosecute him? Ober says he's not confident he can get a conviction, why is that?

Stealing the tape isn't all that big of a deal even, its the fact that he tried to sell it and extort Hogan with it.

He's quitting because of this most recent Mark Ober deal? I find that highly suspect, considering he's had heat with Ober for well over 10 years now and I would say he should have left when Mizzark tried to prosecute him and Brent and put them in prison. Nah, there's more to it than that...

Mornin, it seems that Bubba has finally had enough and wants to call it quits around December 9th when they go off air for the holidays. He cites Mark Ober not prosecuting Spice for the sex tape extortion as his reason he wants to retire. But that sounds like bullshit to me. I would guess low ratings, the ratings scandal and impending million dollar lawsuit with Neilsen and maybe the Beasely's being over his shtick as more of the reason he wants to leave. Then again knowing Bubba, this could just be another one his masterful works he so well known for

A) The station rebrands I would guess.
B) He sells the studio for pennies on the dollar.
C) He spoke of rebranding IO and breathing new life into it, but I'll believe that when I see it. My guess is it just goes away quietly.
