The way the contract was written, a separate bonus was mentioned if Sirius acquired XM. Under the language of the contract they don't count as "HS generated" Sirius subs. Around 1 million XM people signed up for Best of Sirius. Howard wants all the XM subs they gathered with the merger to be counted as subs he brought in because in his mind, he's the only reason they merged.
