He wants to show he knows better than the people at Cox, knowing full well it could get him canned.

This is just my opinion and I could be talking out my ass, but it seems to me, deep down on a subconscious level, he wants to be fired from FM radio. He's fed up with it and perhaps thinks he could cut a deal where he could collect on the rest of his contract in exchange for sitting out FM radio for what's left on it. Meanwhile he can just do the dirt track and IO stuff. But who knows what a court would say in regards to his contract or if they had a legitimate reason to fire him because he didn't break any FCC regulations or do anything he was explicitly told not to in his contract.

I think it's a terrible idea and have said so numerous times on here. We can't do anything besides wait it out.

I'm not one of the people that thinks IO will go away if this happens, but it may sabotage their chances with investors, etc.

Now as crazy as it may sound, seeing as how it coincidences with this Rush Limbaugh bullshit, I can see the two of them getting lumped together in in a PC outrage over what's said/done on the radio. And being an election year, I can see the Obama admin condemning this kind of thing.

I was thinking earlier, what are the chances of Cox/Beasley/LM going to music/best of when he does it? It may piss Bubba off, but I can see them doing it to cover their ass.

Listening back to the FM show now and I had no idea Bubba was considering not doing it. I hope his his common sense wins out. Bubba will get a backlash a shitton worse than the one Rush got.

Night before I woke up about 3:30 and couldn't get back to sleep. Finally about 5 I said fuck it and just came to work. So guess I was just making up for it.

Hmm, my Dr doesn't think drinking beer every night is good. Of course I tell him more like 6-7, not 1-2.
