yeah... he didn't like the fact a couple drivers said they weren't gonna race - I would have said - good - that makes the pot bigger for the rest of the racers and I would have said, you guys might as well sit out cause your not eligible for the cash now.

Well it was a little more than that. USAC people wanted to maintain the track there way. Bubba tried to tell them he knows the track better than they do, and what they want to do will mess it up.

They kept insisting on adding more water, which he said will screw it up. So this got to the racers who started complaining Bubba didn't know what he was doing with the track, he needs to let USAC do it, etc.

So he let them do it there way, which fucked the track all up, then the drivers started crying the track sucked, waah. Half of them threatened not to race and it turned into a big hoopla.

So he said fuck them, don't come back! I don't blame him on this one really!
