Bubba Army Redux! app on the Android Market

1C, glad you figured it out. Are you able to play music with the external speaker as well? Good question as well, SJ. I also noticed you said two days ago that this happened. If you can remember what it is you did to your phone then it might help.

For the BAR app, I managed to implement an auto-reconnect that is pretty handy for restarting the stream in the event your connection hiccups. I will have to test it on my drive to-and-from work, tomorrow, since that is when it happens most often.

None so far.

I would like to develop an iOS version but I will need some assistance from the BRN/RadioIO for that. Unlike Android where anyone can develop for free and pay a one-time $25 developer registration, Apple requires that developers have an Apple machine to develop on and also be enrolled in their Apple Developer Program which is $99 a year. On top of that I have to re-implement everything because the iOS is a different platform altogether.

I will have to pitch the idea to Spice but seeing how they already have the Bubba Army app and they know about TuneIn Radio it will be a hard sell. The biggest reason why I did this app was because the Android version of the Bubba Army app seemed unfinished and was not user-friendly in my opinion. Also, we had done most of the work already when I decided to go ahead with it.

But then again if I had support from BRN/RadioIO I can also implement the music channels and downloadable content...

Not for nothing Cnorona...The redux app works way better than TuneIn does for me. I paid the buck for the better TuneIn, and it still drops out, and takes longer to reconnect.

I didn't no you made that app that kicks ass man it works great for me on my droid phone and tablet. I barley get any drops unless I loose my data connection and the app itself is really user friendly. Great work overall much better then the one io put out.

Make sure you update your Bubba Army Redux apps or else you will not get the stream. If it still says 1.32 wait awhile as it takes some time for the update to propagate to Google's servers.

I figured that would throw a wrench in things, but you got it. You're a hell of a lot more on top of things with your app than the powers that be are with the "official" apps. They really should just hire you to take care of the apps.

Seam to be having issues at home on wi fi with it disconnecting after the update,usually it is rock solid on my wi fi but who knows could be my problem will try it over the next couple days and see,thanks again.
