Bubba Army Redux! app on the Android Market

Does anyone else using this app having issues with it repeating stuff ? it plays fine then bam it starts repeating what i just heard .....

I noticed that this happens on certain phones. For instance, my HTC G1 and T-Mobile Springboard tablet plays perfectly fine with no repeats. However, my HTC HD2 (which I rooted myself and changed to Android) will occasionally repeat random parts of audio it previously played. This happens especially while driving. Not so much when walking on foot.

Seam to be having issues at home on wi fi with it disconnecting after the update,usually it is rock solid on my wi fi but who knows could be my problem will try it over the next couple days and see,thanks again.

Hey, guys. Had to update the app, yet, again because RadioIO decided to change the URLs to their servers. It should work now! Make sure you update your Bubba Army Redux apps or else you will not get the stream. If it still says 1.32 wait awhile as it takes some time for the update to propagate to Google's servers.

I figured that would throw a wrench in things, but you got it. You're a hell of a lot more on top of things with your app than the powers that be are with the "official" apps. They really should just hire you to take care of the apps.

I didn't no you made that app that kicks ass man it works great for me on my droid phone and tablet. I barley get any drops unless I loose my data connection and the app itself is really user friendly. Great work overall much better then the one io put out.

Not for nothing Cnorona...The redux app works way better than TuneIn does for me. I paid the buck for the better TuneIn, and it still drops out, and takes longer to reconnect.

Any plans of porting it to iPhones?

None so far.

I would like to develop an iOS version but I will need some assistance from the BRN/RadioIO for that. Unlike Android where anyone can develop for free and pay a one-time $25 developer registration, Apple requires that developers have an Apple machine to develop on and also be enrolled in their Apple Developer Program which is $99 a year. On top of that I have to re-implement everything because the iOS is a different platform altogether.

I will have to pitch the idea to Spice but seeing how they already have the Bubba Army app and they know about TuneIn Radio it will be a hard sell. The biggest reason why I did this app was because the Android version of the Bubba Army app seemed unfinished and was not user-friendly in my opinion. Also, we had done most of the work already when I decided to go ahead with it.

But then again if I had support from BRN/RadioIO I can also implement the music channels and downloadable content...
