Fuck Sirius|XM. After the way they treated my parents, I will never go back to them. They shut their radio off in Nov. 2010. They then bill them for a yearly subscription saying although their radio was off, the account was active. They wouldn't refund them, nor even talk to them. XM even hung up in their ears.

The credit card company saw things differently and pretty much told XM to go piss off.

I may be the ONLY GUY ever that actually didn't have to jump through hoops to cancel their Sirius account. What I did was last October I canceled, they begged me 3 times to stay and finally offered me 6 free months. I took the 6 free months, then when March this year rolled around, a few weeks before the 6 free months was up, I called and told them just to shut it off..they begged and even offered another 6 free months and I said no, I had already pulled my equipment out of my cars, which was true. She said thanks for being a customer and that was it. The trick was I found an 800 number here in the States, I think it was in NY that I called, I didn't go through their overseas bullshit...

Believe me though, I was prepared to be billed later on and get fucked with by them because I had read the horror stories, but I apparently dodged a bullet..
