I don't know about there, but there aren't any tips at fast food joints here! And waitresses make less than minimum wage in most cases just because of the tips.

Yeah I know that, long time been happening. But about the only "fast food" places where tips are is more like pizza delivery, sammich shops, not the typical fast food McD's, etc.
