Why do people call others names like "black mike"

even if Black Mike calls himself Black Mike, you don't hear others saying "hey I'm asian-american Andrew" or "Sup Lads, Me names Scottish Mcduff"

Mowing down here is a futile effort of late. It rains so much, when the sun comes out the grass grows like crazy, so I only cut mine every two weeks.
