Drew Garabo "In Your Face" Listening Thread - July 2013
I worked at Winn Dixie for two days. I was hired as a stocker, I got to stock the first day then they said they needed me to be a bagger on day 2 so I said "okay, let me take my break first" and I walked out and never went back.
i started out as a bagger and was a meat cutter when they closed all the stores in SC and NC.
A private firm looked into one of your cases, where you basically witch hunted a Canadian businessman and found him guilty.
They looked at the differences in requirements and in case laws and they found that by canadian standards, it wouldn't have even been allowed to go to court to be tried.
This wasn't a canadian firm either - I think it was an british company that was impartial (maybe german? I can't remember)
Your laws and the basis for getting something into court are to lax. This is why you have so many frivolous lawsuits.
No argument here, our legal system is far from perfect and Florida does it no favors.
