The one I got my friend ordered directly from apple and those are completely unlocked so I knew it would work with my sim

I sold my 4 for $180. If you have an iPhone with AT&T you can do a legal carrier unlock through them after you have completed your 2 year contract

the closest Apple store was an hour away when the 3G launched and they were sold out of the black ones when I got there. i had to settle for a faggy white one
