    Well Excel is spreadsheet, which will work. If you want a DB you can use Access which is also in office, or MySQL, but access is a lot easier for users to setup their own DB's.

      • Access is pretty easy, lot of templates in it too for simple DB's like that. Not very scalable for business use, like big DB's.

          • Yeah access should have a simple template for that, so each record is separate. Pretty easy to do.

                    It works fine for small application DB's. Many network apps I used used it. Not scalable though and not something you can just setup a simple DB in unless you know SQL.

                              • Can usually find a code for like $20 from MS to download a copy with license to. There is no annual fee I've ever heard of.
