  • I can't be the only one that hopes Bubba and Spice battle it out and Spice comes out on top am I? I can't even imagine how much dirt he has on the sponge. I also think we all know who the rest of the bone would side with.

That would be fine too at this point.

Then they were on the show he praised them, but then a few weeks later he indirectly bashed them when he mentioned another show getting their old station in Jacksonville.
Typical chickenshit move. He could get content out of them when they were in studio, then he motherfucks them on the backside.

I didn't hear today's show but. Spice seems like a straight up guy to me. He's been far more honest to the listeners than that other guy. And Spice doesn't have a track record of believing in conspiracies where everyone is out to get him and often pinning stuff on the wrong people. If Bubba thinks something else is up, he's going to have to do a good job of proving it.

                  (95% loss since 2011!)
Come and show me another city with lifted head singing so proud to be alive and coarse and strong and cunning.

I'm just going off what spice said about how he tried to get a stock registered for his taxe filing and the guy said he didn't get paid so it would cost 500 or something to file the stock...

then spice said the stock probably isn't worth the 500 bucks to file it..

he never mentioned what stock it was... so I'm just assuming. I could be 100% wrong.

                    • Sounds like Spice left because he did something very costly and shady that he owes Bubba for, big time. Hence, the reference to dollar amount that Sam's girl took him for. That whole scene in Tampa is strange.

I don't believe it and I don't want to believe it. I hope they work it out.

On last weeks episode of Clusterfuck Radio (I think it was last week, maybe the week before) Manson in a roundabout way really took a shit on Bean and Bubba for the shitty way that IO has been handled. He also stated that he felt that IO could have been something big but that it is an obvious waste of their time at this point. Manson also mentioned that if he was smart thatched be out shopping his talents around for gigs beyond BTLS, but that he's the most unconnected man in the business.

He and Donna showed up on their vacation to do a show for free... Because they're good, cool people. I think at this point Manson has had it with Bubba, but is under contract and making enough money from the FM show thathejust sits back making an easy paycheck simply putting up with Bubbas shit and doing bits as needed. You can just tell his heart isn't into it like he used to be

                          • As much as Manson's attitude pisses me off at times, I admire his honesty in situations like that. Of course he's the golden child so Bubba won't get mad at him.

a long time ago manson took a shit on IO..

I kinda took a shit on manson at that point for admitting he's just collecting a check instead of trying but at this point I can't blame him. Back when he originally said it though I don't think spice had even left yet.. IO was still pretty new...

the way 25 left was a huge indication that things were very very wrong behind the scenes at the BRN. He didn't strike me as a guy to quit the way he did unless there was a really big reason behind it.

                              • It's def not the first time he's taken a shit on IO, and I agree that it's just a further indication of how things have been crumbling inside the BRN for quite a while. Having not been a daily listener to BTLS at least since Spice left, but really since before that, I'm not fully aware of the circumstances surrounding 25s departure from the BRN, but having been loyal to Bubba and the organization for such a long time it must have been something serious that made him leave. This talk of spice and money and such dealing with his leaving the show seems suspect too... A bubba spin job?

While Mansons attitude pisses me off at times too, I can't fault him for keeping his head down and taking the easy paycheck. I've always envied his general honesty and appearance of contentness about life. He's very talented, and I just think that Bubba is no longer the muse he used to be.
