Bubba is so respectful towards and highly complementary of Drew, for good reason, and yet can be so unfair to Billy and crew. Oh well. We know how these things tend to go and we're headed for a multi car pileup on the Bone Turnpike once tensions boil over.

See this is the funny thing, I rail against infighting yet I'm dying to hear tonight's Spice Show because of the drama. Such is the psychology of someone that likes this genre of radio.

Conflict is good, but if the guys are on the same team it's nothing but counter productive and could end up hurting several of the shows on the station and in the end the overall viability of this all talk format. As talk fans across multiple formats, I think it's in our best interest to see the station do well. I'm honestly most worried about Spice's show. I worry that if what Bubba said about his ratings is true, Spice could be one fight with management away from being canned.

If you expect anyone to address it and get some heat, I'd say you'd be best served listening to Spice. It's clear he's frustrated with the way things are going. It's only a matter of time before he goes off. You can tell he's holding a lot back. Even if he doesn't completely go off, Spice will be hard pressed to ignore it.

Around what hour was this rant from Bubba? I'll check it out in the IO archives. I'm still a bit behind on the shows.
