I was driving home last night talking to my wife about all of this. I've been in radio since 1989, and I said, "You've been with me since 1998. How many times in these past 14 years or so have you read someone's nasty fucking shit about me online? Have I ever once said I was going to take someone to COURT?"

A public figure is open to people bashing the shit out of you. You are open for news people to broadcast false information about you. You are open for people to go online and post your address, pics of your family, nasty shit about your wife, etc. You are open for the newspaper to print awful shit about you without ever once picking up a phone to ask for details and facts. If everytime that were to happen, if they got dragged in to COURT, this Country wouldn't have any money left. (Not that we do as it is.)

I HAVE SEEN IT ALL and I can tell you without question, it will continue no matter if there's a law suit or not.

I took Bubba's spot at WFLZ when he left and went to 98 Rock - and you have no IDEA how much BULLSHIT I had to deal with, but I sure as FUCK don't blame BUBBA for that!!!!!!!!!!! In fact, I'm a HUGE Bubba FAN! I believe in what he's doing and am impressed that in modern day, a guy in radio can DO and get away with . . . what he does.

I am watching this trial with my JAW on the floor because I can't believe it's actually in Court. I cannot believe how PETTY it is.

I get it. It gets us all riled up. From those in radio like yourself, to us fans of talk in the vein of what Bubba does that see this genre of radio in danger. Taking over for Bubba at WFLZ must've been an unenviable task for sure. But you knew it came with the territory.

A guy like Schnitt, for someone that supposedly had been into radio since he was five years old, he seems to have no concept of the fact that such a job opened him up for criticism the second he cracked the mic.
