Hogan's state court lawsuit, which seeks damages in excess of $15,000, names Clem and his ex-wife as defendants. The federal lawsuit, which seeks $100 million in damages, was filed against Gawker.
Hogan, dressed in a black t-shirt, jeans and reflective sunglasses, walked to a black limo and departed, declining to speak with reporters.
"Bubba's the victim here," said Stephen Diaco, an attorney and longtime friend of Clem's who often acts as his counsel. Diaco, who noted Clem can't speak on the issue due to provisions in his divorce settlement, added, "I don't know how you sue a victim."

I think Steve is referring to the tape (possibly?) having been stolen from him/used to make him look bad, if that's the position they're taking. I feel like I'm in the fucking Twilight Zone these days.
so the tape was involved in his divorce settlement don't buy that either
I don't think it was regarding the tape specifically Netas, it's anything to do with his ex-wife. It's a real shitty cop out, and he has used it anytime he's been backed into a corner or if someone starts asking "man's man questions, where telling like it is would be necessary". I know Steve D. has a job to do so I'm not gonna hold it against him.
