Star Wars holds up pretty well compared to most movies that old. A reboot would be shitty

"Rebooting" Star Wars is a stupid concept. Despite some continuity snafus, it's all supposed to be one straight timeline. It's not like comics where you have various alternate realities, universe resets, etc.

Besides, there is still (apparently) a live action TV series in the works based in the Rise of the Empire era. And there was plans for a movie tying into that.
