The drive on this 360 pisses me off, sometimes it just doesn't wanna play ball

once it starts the game properly it is fine no troubles but the magnet lock loves to blueball me.

If you're having a problem with the drawer opening try this. It doesn't get stuck closed if you always leave any disc inside. If it does get stuck, straighten out paper clip and gently stick it inside a small slot on the in between the edge of the door and the console.

Thanks for the tip but it isn't the tray it is the magnet lock in the drive that holds the disc and reads it initially.

Never heard of that. That tip works on the older 360s, Is that what you have?

I've never had a problem with disc reading, just the damn door gets stuck.
