It pick up signals even if you aren't listening. Just today, I went to a salvage yard to get a new spare tire. There was a radio playing in the office and one in the shop. If I had a PPM, both would have registered as me listening.

Exactly. One could conceivably manipulate the results by putting it in range of radios playing stations they picked out on purpose.

I can't believe Bubba likes this idea, seems more like a way to measure how many radios are turned on and tuned to what rather than if people are actually listening to something.

Tim "work in progress" Sabean on now not saying much about getting the Friday FM shows and talking about all the "ideas" he can't talk about. We've heard that before.
