I actually have that video somewhere. Yeah he shreds! I love Metallica but Kirk kinda bugs me sometimes with the wha pedal all the time. It's hard to say who the best is because there's some many styles and there might be someone out there who can't get signed but could smoke every guitar player on earth.

Forgot about The Crue!! Mick Mars is prolly one of the most entertaining and own style I've seen.. He kicks ass..but do like the Crue!!

Dude, about 8-10 yrs ago me and my bud from Cali were at one of the 98 Rock concert deals. We met this kid in the crowd. Every song that came on he was like, "I can play that". My buddy played guitar and was like yeah right.

Well the next day we went to this kids dad's storage place the kid setup to play in. My god. You name a song and this kid would just shred it. My buddy was like, oh that's how that goes.

If you ever hear of a band that comes out called Slag...as in Metal Slag..it will be him. So I hear ya!!

I think Kirk uses his peddle to allow James to get in his riffs as it tones Kirk down when he does it. Could be wrong, but as a layman that's what it seems.

I know James only plays rhythm, but he has quite of bit of riffs in their tunes.

That's exactly what I mean, I heard a guy from around here that won best Pa. guitarist 2 years in a row, He was so good it was scary! He works at the Walmart distrubution center! And James doesn't get the credit he deserves I actually saw a video of him working with Kirk on coming up with a lead for a song and can play lead really good, I think he chooses not to because of the singing duties.

Yeah..I think that was Some Kind of Monster or also in A year and a half in the life of Tallica!! Both great vids!!

James can play..but not like Kirk!!

Next week I'm going to see Def Leppard on Friday and Judas Priest on Sunday!!

Guitar LOVE!! But I am a drummer..so I focus on that a lot!! LOL

I saw Fight in a small club in Allentown Pa. Halford slapped my hand I was right at the stage with the mosh pit behind my back.

Back in the day..in our little POS band, I could belt out some Leppard!! Joe Elliot has a voice that is..well just fuckin rock!!
