Bubba announced last night via Twitter (douchechills) that he bought Ocala Raceway...

Bubba briefly mentioned this in the past but quickly brushed it off due to the deal not being finalized... looks like it is now.

So what do you guys think? Good Idear? Bad Idear?

Will any of you local floridians be making the trek to the raceway?

Do you think he will be tying this in to the radio show in any way? Free Pass Give-aways... Pit Visits? Drive a Bubba Army Stock Car?

No totally a bad idear, now bad timing on the other hand...definitely. He keeps crying poormouth about all of his other ventures and here he goes buying a fucking racetrack over 2 hours from his house. As I said in a prior post, now is probably the time he should be looking to downsize his extra cirricular activities and spend more time wih Heather and the kids but what do I know.

I know nothing about "Raceways" or that particular one.
however, if bubba is smart he will let a qualified businessman run the darn thing, mostly lending his name to it for PR purposes and will use it as his retirement fund.

similar to when famous people have a restaurant.
