What exactly are the requirements for music programmer? Do you want someone to pick just a list of songs?
I noticed you have a song you start the show with, then other groups of songs during breaks. What songs do you have to choose from? Does the length of the song matter? Do you or the Diaco's prefer some songs, or are we picking from a predetermined list? Just Asking. Why are you 'required' to take breaks per your contract? I realize the show needs breaks, but once the show was flowing and there was a hard break, why couldn't you just run long and catch up later? |

The breaks are flexible, but we need them. They help us regroup, go to the bathroom, get a drink, and prepare for the next guest/topic. It takes time to get guests on the phone and it helps to change gears.
As for the music, we prefer that the songs be about 3 min 30 sec to 4 min 30 sec in length, but that isn't a hard requirement. There will be 3 songs that you pick to play in their entirety and then up to three songs that we will play about 20 to 30 seconds of the beginning as we get back into the show from our breaks. |
