i lived in austria for a semester when i was in college and i tipped the local bartenders like i tip here in the states. they would fucking clear me a seat at the bar when i walked in and serve me first no matter how busy. the austrians were dumbfounded at why this would happen.

I tip take out and delivery. like 10%.

If I'm picking food up from somewhere I don't tip. If I get delivery and they tack on the bullshit "delivery charge" I tend to tip less and let the driver know had it not been for that "surcharge" they would have got more, I delivered pizzas back in the day and we didn't charge for delivery (pizza hut) and I did pretty well even though they only paid me 2 bucks and change an hour and I had to use my own car.
