the military saying they have no record of him being concussed or having PSTD isn't that damning. Lots of guys don't get diagnosed until after they get home and only if they voluntarily go to a VA or a doctor I imagine.

While that is true, just about every incident, especially IED's has an after action report, so if they say he was never involved in an IED as he said, that is different.

They always tell soldiers they didn't get concussed, they were too far away, yada yada.

the kid got the minimum sentence for texting and driving for basically having no priors and character witnesses. It could have been 15 years max.

Any distracted driving can be charged with the same deal. Text Messaging is the hot new thing and is actually a law created to keep people alive. I like it.
