Your insurance isn't going up cause of obesity, it isn't helping but it isnt the reason. The reason is because there are uninsured getting healthcare for free basically. Granted they have judgments filed on them for it, but insurance cranks up the rates because they have to cover the cost.

The healthcare law is forcing everyone to have health insurance and offering a low price option for everyone should they need it. It's an old republican idea that the insurance agencies love.
