That's Brent insecurity coming through. Once the heat was being reversed on him, he was going on about her being stupid, fat, lazy, etc. like he's some big prize.

I like Brent, I really do, and you know he's better than this, that's what's really aggravating about the guy. He's just making zero effort to improve and running away from his problems.
