I have a pair of Sony MDR's I use for editing. They have gotten a bit ratty though with that stuff they put around the foam. I need a good portable solution.

I have a pair of sony studio monitors,cheap but I like em,I'm thinking of a pair of Sennheiser's,I don't use buds much.

yeah for a while,they all got fitted for them but sounded like they never used them

Back when I was actually doing editing on a regular basis (sorry Spaz, still working on it), the Sony MDR's were great. Best headphones I've ever used, no wonder they're an industry standard.

Yeah the UE 500's I posted above seem to be a good price for what I'm getting. The model above that seems a bit excessive for what I'm looking for.
