He's not obligated to do shit, but you hit the nail on the head.

Spice saying he didn't think Colin would last, etc. was also sort of kicking him when he's down. Yeah he gets ragged on a lot for the show, and it's all jokes and shit, but after a while a shit situation at home coupled with all the shit he takes on the show has got to get a bit much.

Spice himself said he exceeded expectations. So why not help the guy out that has shown initiative for what is probably shit pay and has shown up consistently?
