My problem is that when it's never been easier to listen to the show, people still piss and moan about "missing" the show when they're apparently too inept to listen for free on the goddamn internet. I doubt that there's a large number of satellite radio customers that don't have an internet connection or don't know how to work the internet.
It's good exposure for the FM show, radioIO, and the money would be good for Bubba. It's good for listeners because it gives them more choices. But the hype built up around returning to Sirius XM is a bit absurd. I don't know what people are expecting, but apparently enough people think they're getting something other than FM replays. It's not going to be a return to the much lauded 2006-2007 days.
I guess what some say about radio listeners is true. Lots of people are just stuck in their ways of doing things and they have to be dragged kicking and screaming to a new medium. I would just think satellite radio listeners would be a bit more tech savvy.
