I'm not mad at anyone, because I know I messed up. Just sucks that I got labeled a drug addict today on the show because I take medication that's prescribed to me.

Things are tough there. One guy has a broken down car, the other one can't afford to keep his power on.

Thing is Chob I probably could have gotten free parts from the guy Shannon gets free parts from in new jersey. I've always believed you don't take free things from your listeners. Especially ask them to pay for your power bill. I know for a fact that Bubba would never ask his listeners for donations to pay one of his show members power.

I didn't hear the show today, but does that mean the heart medication my father takes makes him a drug addict? He can't miss taking some of the fucking zillion pills he has to take or else it messes him up for weeks. Which puts him at a higher risk for something bad to happen.

Well if you don't take a medication you're currently on, you're naturally going to feel different. If I stopped taking insulin/diabetes meds I'd feel worse and the way I feel would be the least of my worries. I know a friend that was on Lexapro but stopped because it was too expensive. She felt different when she first went off it, but she kicked it eventually. Feeling the effects of no longer taking something doesn't make one an addict.

Funny, I'm listening back now. What he calls a "heat reversal" is actually a good fucking point. He said "a drug is a drug." He self medicates as well, and admits to having done a bunch of different drugs. It shouldn't matter what the person medicates with, or which one has more side effects. The basic premise is the same.

I agree a lot of people are overfed pills. But with his habits him getting on a high horse comes off a bit shitty.
