For milk and anyone that gives a shit. They announce the Mayhem Fest bands today. Slipknot is rumored to be headlining. We finally get a touring metal show back in the area. Last one was Ozzfest '97. And I'm not counting Uproar since that's more mainstream and they skipped here last year.

I don't have to go to fucking Hartford this year.

I mean no offense to Hartford. I hope Bubba gets on there and they have one of a handful of good FM rock stations in the country.

But the venue sucks. Their staff are dickheads and the second stage area is a big dusty concrete parking lot which is boxed in by a fence with an opening only a few feet wide so hundreds of people are funneled through this tiny area. Getting to the main stage seats is a pain in the ass too.

They cut down the second stage band # down a bit, but that's not a bad thing. I want to sit.
