Spice by himself is bland. Now if I could get Spice and Manson then I could get him a gig.

I'd say it's a good indicator they signed something if he's on. I was actually hoping for a shake up in contracts just for the fact that it would fire up the old war between Bubba and CC

I assume his current contract expired at midnight last night as those contracts tend to do, so like SJ says, if you hear best of, it's a pretty good bet they at least came to some arrangement. I said a while back when the Cowhead stuff was going down that I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happened with Bubba, as in him working without a contract until things get squared away.

If anything, I'd imagine they'd end up burying the hatchet. Who knows how many people Bubba had a problem with actually still work there.

Burke has a hell of a lot of momentum going for him and is winning a lot of people over.

Keep in mind that Burke only (really) started in October. That and I, and prolly a ton of others never heard him before. Taking time off when just starting off would come off as a dick move, don't you think? Even for a guy like Shannon, who probably deserves it.

Isn't it a dick move when you establish an audience and new platform to reach said audience, then take 3 weeks vacation + 14-17 (counts vary) EXTRA days off on top of that? I don't think that just cause bubba has been on a long time it grants him that privilege.

I've been tempted to write in but there would be no point. I work 14 hour shifts, 6 days a week. I get two weeks of vacation a year. Guess what my job is? Petroleum engineer, sorry Bubba your job isn't more mental than mine. And I have millions of dollars at stake for one well, I'm at a new one every month. And I don't sit behind a desk all day just monitoring my numbers. If shit hits the fan I've been known to run the 300 yards to slam open the brine tank to keep the well from exploding, while drill piping is getting thrown everywhere.

I'm not trying to be a hater, I'm just really frustrated.
