Hola amigos! I am very excited to be in Tampa Bay! I've lived in California all my life, so I'm definitely a west coast gal, but I couldn't have picked a more beautiful place to call my new home.

I was born in Fresno, Ca but was raised in the small town of Biola. I am very passionate about my heritage, expressing it through the art of traditional Mexican Folkloric and Latin dance as a professional and competitve dancer. I used to commute weekly to the Bay Area, in California, to train with my Latin Ballroom coaches, best known for their work on ABC's hit reality show, "Dancing with the Stars."

I worked at KFSN-TV ABC 30 as a part-time Assignment Editor while working towards my Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism at California State University-Fresno. In July 2007, I became KFSN's first-ever Traffic Anchor/ Producer of Action News AM Live. In June 2011 I was awarded a regional Emmy Award for being part of the Best Daytime Newscast.

I cherish spending time with my family and friends. I am the second child of five siblings and I have three beautiful nieces and three adorable nephews. I also enjoy exercising, traveling, reading and encourage people to adopt animals and to spay and neuter their pets. And I am currently enrolled in the Broadcast Meteorology Program at Mississippi State University and recently became a member of the National Weather Association.

I really enjoy volunteering for charity organizations and associations, so please let me know if you need my help!
