You can either do it that way or snailmail and it takes aboot 6-8 weeks to get it back. I did mine the mail way and it was simple, not sure how the other way goes, I don't know if you get it same day or not. For you, you'll need your DD214, fingerprints done, pay the $117.00 fee and yer golden.

Shit, I know dudes at work that it took almost a yr doing it by mail. Dude did it in Tampa and got it back in like 5 weeks. Supposedly they do prints and everything there.

It's not same day, it just gets submitted to Tallahassee the same day. Takes 4-6 weeks from what I've been told. Plus, you know for sure it is filed correctly and don't have to wait 6 weeks for them to tell ya something is missing, incorrect etc.
