I have given up for now...
I have stopped listening to the Bubba the Love Sponge show for now...

Ultimately the reason for stopping was I asked myself why was I listening to a show I no longer enjoyed. I was not enjoying it so much that it was actually getting me worked up and angry. I had to tell myself that ultimately it is just a radio show and I shouldn't be getting so worked up over it.

In addition to the show just being terrible to listen I also am leaving because of some of the heat I am getting (which was nowhere near the heat Ludlow was getting) but many folks are pissed at me for telling people to contact COX over Bubba's actions. It is my opinion that no radio show host shoudl threaten to kick a listeners ass or to send their "Army" after them just because the person has an opinion on their radio show which the host does not agree with. As someone who works in the industry no broadcaster should allow their tallent to phisically threaten any listener, as if something happens to that listener ultimately it is the company who will bare the brunt of the following lawsuits for allowing their tallent to broadcast their messages of hate over their airwaves.

If COX does not renew Bubba it's not my fauly because I had people alert COX, its Bubba's fault for not thinking before he opens up his mouth online and on the internet.

I have been a Bubba fan for many many years, even worked with him in studio a number of times. It saddens me to see him imploding like he is, he thinks the entire world is out to get him when in reality Bubba is his own worst enimy.

To Spice and Manson, you guys are great and the lifeblood of the show and the network. I am sorry you have to go through all of this crap, you are are the true tallent in that studio and you can be a success with and more importantly without Bubba. To Brent I hope you win your election and leave the show since you don't really seem to add anything to in anyways. Your constant Bubba ass kissing and reading from Wikipedia is beyond annoying. I am guessing the only reason you still have a job is because you kiss ass so good. Sometimes I think I like hearing Blind James and Benny on the air more then you.

If I may I will still check in here from time to time to see how things are going. And hopefully I will hear news that I can once again tune in and ENJOY my favorite show on the radio.
