Bubba Army Radio Listening Thread (week of 10/3/2011) - Where it all begins again!

now in the business world - you got a company, it has stock... your about to open 3 new stores on monday - you announce it to everyone in the papers blah blah blah

so it comes time to open the stores and they aren't ready.... there's crowds lined up... kids are starting to get annoying... the stores never open...


how many of those people that stood in line at your store are going to go home and buy stock in your company?

Don't get me started. Just another way of them jobbing the HONEST people in their audience out of $$$. Remember some of those "everything we've ever done" CD sets? It'll all be available for download for a FRACTION of what it cost very soon, plus newer stuff.

I just don't get it from a business standpoint. - you make these announcements you can't follow through with.... I seriously doubt there will be 100 songs up before the 31st... scratch that - they will be up but they'll fuck something up and you won't be able to download em cause of some site issue...


my point: how does this instill confidence in investors looking at your company?

THIS IS JUST MY OPINION, BUT...

SJ, I really think this is an admission that the subscription model didn't work and that if there's going to be any saving of RadioIO, it's going to be through the advertising model, which is failing terrestrial radio as we speak.

I believe that the haters on SFN and their ilk might actually be right, that this whole thing could crumble right before us, and before Bubba's three-year deal with IO is up. They are giving away premium content, they are not securing their streams, they continue to use technology that causes their channels to "cut out" when they switch from studio to IO and back, they use a network topology that requires guys like Greg to have to monitor them like babies... It's a fucking mess.

I am very concerned about wtf is going on there, especially with these changes.
