I can almost envision TV news "Stiefelgate" graphics. Nothing that I've heard. I still think Bubba's way off, but I have no super secret intel that Bubba may or may not have.

I think someone is giving him bad intel just for their own fucked up amusement, and possibly someone with an axe to grind with Jack. Who knows. The whole thing is old hat and it's really become an elephant in the room that's having a serious negative effect on the show.

The thing is people see how easy it is to manipulate what Bubba thinks is true and can use it for their own gain. Not saying that's what happened with Peter, but at one point Bubba was just as sure that he was the culprit.
