He wasn't really begging. He doesn't understand why they dropped him. He was already negotiating for a lower pay due to being 4th in jax. The call during io may have been them reacting to the fm show and threatening to take him off the bone. In any case he will be talking to clearchannel and CBS come November.

I said "almost begging" due to the fact that he was offering them the show back at up to a 60% savings and saying shit like "maybe you guys might want to reconsider after you hear this" or something to that affect. May not be begging in the classic sense, but it definitely smacks of a man in desperation mode IMO...
