Service area and quality of service is more important than $10-15/month. Just sayin', it'll drive you crazy if you can't use your phone as you see fit.

AT&T is a solid network. However, if Verizon fits all your needs coverage area wise, it is the best network out there.

I don't have issues with AT&T here in SE PA with two notable exceptions:

1) We have a corridor that is basically a three mile long dead spot between towers. Sadly, this includes the gym where I work out.

2) Every so often, even with five bars, you can't transmit shit over their network, as the problem is with the back end, not the wireless portion.

I have only had that issue while on wifi and sending data on wifi and trying to do something over network as well.
