I think he is putting his own money into the new studio (for 5 years of use ofcourse!) but the money to pay Shannon Burke would have to come from radioio. Just like how bubba was on howard's channels yet apparently he was getting paid by Sirius, I don't think he can just give money to radioio for the purposes of hiring more talent just like that.

Okay, so what happened to the million or so dollars they raised during the early enlistment? Not trying to be a dick, just askin. I would hate to see Shannon get snapped up by something just a little better than the AM dogpiss jones he is on now, then having another Drew Gararbo situation. Let's all be serious for a second, Shannon is one of the few bright spots (along with the Diacos) that have something worthwhile listening to in regards to one-off shows. The dog shooting stigma will eventually wear off and he may have some opportunities in the future, just don't want to see him leave.

I don't know, I don't work for radioio--I work for the justice/legal system/government. Keep in mind the talent they brought in all got job offers in radio shortly after having their Internet shows, maybe radioio can't compete with the stability provided by existing radio companies in the I4 corridor in their minds and they may have asked for an uncomfortable amount, keep in mind who is doing the negotiating, a company that was/is using freeware to provide their exclusive content.
I'm fairly patient and willing to give them a year till the new studio before I really feel irked about my investment.
