Me and the Mrs. have been living with a few time bombs of irreconcilable differences for several years, now. While we can mostly live together for now, there's no "happily ever after" for us. She knows it too.

Thanks. It's cool, I guess. I don't consider any of it a waste, and I don't hate her or anything. The worst part is you don't go into a marriage, raise a couple of kids, expecting to call it a day after 20 years or so. But sometimes it's the right thing to do.

Yeah, it's pretty much gonna happen. Not sure yet exactly when and how, but I'd say there's a 90% probability.

Yeah, it's a lot of time. I know. Sucks. But as the world changes, people need to adapt and change. Some people don't, or can't. And therein lies the problem for us.
