The electric car is amazing technology, and I doubt Bubba having a Volt from Stingray Chevrolet is going to help America use less oil... Anything worthwhile to the benefit of humanity will be controlled by forces who wish to profit from it... It's a no-win deal.

Yeah, hydrogen powered engines is amazing technology as well. But big oil won't profit from that so the government cronies won't get their kick backs as easy. Same ole song and dance!!

Exactly, it is a great idea in theory, but the huge pricetag will keep most away. I know he's trying his best to put Stingray over, but maybe a little more subtlety would go a long way. I hope Steve from Stingray at least gives him a courtesy tap.
